K43 Mount Original or Reproduction?

I picked up this mount and scope recently and am curious what others think. When I first saw it I liked the patina and age it seemed to have on it. The more I looked at it, I noticed there aren’t indexing holes for the milling, no serial numbers at all, and a Waffenampt where a serial should be. It’s also missing parts for the latch.

I paid appropriately, so I’m not hurt with it as a reproduction mount, but I’d appreciate any thoughts. It’s always nice to be wrong.

Here are a couple of pics and a link to quite a few more

IMHO - look legit. There seems to be far fewer reproduction square mount brackets versus round - likely because they are earlier production and a little scarcer. Hard part now will be finding original rings/screws. Scopes are pretty common still and honestly prices have not really changed over the last 15x years. In my experience complete original mounts have actually declined in value.

Guys

This OP mount is really interesting to me...I found this mount (see the link below) with a very late dual manufacture K43 (AC45 to BLM) which I discussed earlier in threads in this section.

The general concensus was my mount was legit, but lever wasn't...

The above OP's mount and my mount seem to have the same font on the lever. I'm wondering if both are from the same source and maybe just an earlier font variation (or maybe really late)...rejected parts??

Take a look at the font on both the OP and below...my lever has no indication of being off the mount before.
