Hello All,
Well with regards to the Zielsechs I was with you also on post war shananagans till more poped up in the last year or so. the new owner has now modified it from its original function. they ADDED a 1-8 with stop, then they ADDED a focus dial and NOW made the ELEVATION functionable again. they repaired the extended sun/rain shield and made it longer as it was altered by being cut at an angle which these alts are very common from this seller, buyer beware. I have been told and still collecting data on the very TINY run of fixed flak or other intented use commercial scopes. in this small pocket of Zeiss Zielsechs Featherlight scopes they had the scope rail installed or was factory removed so far. i have now 3 observations all with in the 75377-75530 serial range. please see pics of one i picked upped that is in unaltered form in its orignal factory produced model with correct reticule. the ones you see in the auction looks like they flipped the reticule frame and clipped the 3rd bar. I am still hunting down what there intended use is but its funnny this little serial block of scopes are all in this form and have to be for a reason unknown yet to me at least. the focus tower mounts facing down so reticule center post comes from the bottom and is also why the rain/sun shade drip holes are aligned facing the tower has to be some sort of flak or other aiming/targeting device. You can do NO elevatin movement and the big CAP you see is to adj the focus only.
