Humper Die Derp 27 1939 1984

Yeah I'm sorry too. I'd forgotten that this was the now famous (infamous) 'byf41'. The loony e/280s all over this thing are brutal. Way too deep... sideways. In places they shouldn't even be.

OP take this as a bit of solace. You're not the winner of the Phucked Hardest trophy. Actually $1800 is about the bottom of this guys marketing anymore.

Yeah... I really avoid stuff like that now. Eventually I did get a legit all matching k98k, 1939 JP Sauer rifle and I love it. Didn't cost 1800 either...

Here are some photos of what I call my lesson learned rifle post Erma disaster. The rifle is duffle cut under the rear barrel band

Oh so that's even better to hear. Congrats on the JPS piece! Maybe post some photos when you get a chance?

Done!

I have a bolt MM AX41 too if anyone wants photos. So at least one of my Erma rifles is legit. When I first got into these I definitely went after a couple on gunbroker that weren't good deals, later sold them and just waited and got better ones through private sales. Lurking the forum has helped since the Erma mistake

On the topic of this rifle, does anyone have any suggestions about what to do with the Erma, I think the bolt is at least legit if nothing else, barrel is really clean and it's a great shooter. So on the one hand I have been considering selling it or trading it (wouldn't dare try to swindle someone like I was) but on the other it shoots lights out. Anyone have any thoughts or suggestions?

Hmm, I had not seen this thread yet. Considering the OP seller, I am not surprised..

The other day he sold some nazi marked pocket pistol. Had a big description/story about it "Coming off a plain clothed nazi" "no tellin how many partzans this bad boy keeled"
Just left me shaking my head, I admire his salesmanship as much as I'm disgusted by it. He has no qualms about spinning the biggest/dumbest stories and hyping up even the most mediocre of items as if they were Himmlers personal firearm.

You could give that guy a Jennings .22 and he'd be
WOW TRULY A MINTY FIND WOW WOW NO TELLING HOW MANY COMMIES THIS SHOT - WOW IF I HAD THE MONEY THIS WOULDNT BE FOR SALE HOLY **** WOW

Well said NC, and excellent gif in support. This kind of carnival barking and humpery undermine the integrity of our hobby.
