Help with a Bnz 1945

I agree as well. I noticed there are no Q blocks in the picture reference section

Very scarcely referenced in Vol III as well. 7231 is listed in the data table but with very minimal information. 2 others appear in the Barrel Code Table on the next page. 5397 with an EB lot while 6998 carries and EA lot code. That led to my suspicion there's an E preceding his A and under the wood line.

Well when I get home I will try carefully to take it out of the stock just to see if the numbers match the stock and see if there's that e underneath the a that dm1 asked. And you know if this helps other collectors by all means keep my photos and you know when I get it in I will be more than happy to take whatever photos you want.
One more thing does the butt plate look okay I mean I wouldn't expect it to be perfect but it just looks like that maybe somebody sanded a little bit. And again if you just want to use the photos for your book or your information you got my permission no problem and lastly everybody's probably asking what did I spend for it well I don't care if people don't think it was a deal or not I'm happy with it and that's all that matters I spent $2,600 well technically I only spent $1,000 because I traded two pistols for it and cash and I'm not sure if you guys would like this I can delete it if not but I did get it from Legacy collectibles. Seems that when he was at the show shows he picked up a ton of great k98s but again I'm not trying to advertise for him so if this is wrong I'll take it off

It looks even more interesting with both roll marks on the receiver off center to the right.
In the picture reference, some of the “r” block are missing Mod 98 all together. Neat rifle. Congratulations.
