Just joined and wanted to give a brief intro. I joined because my father acquired a K98 through pure and blind ignorance of the seller. My father isn't great with the internet. I normally do online research to give him opinions on things prior to purchases, however, I am out of my league in trying to gather data for him. I have a very demanding: job, one week old son, two year old daughter, and a wife. I am hoping through the good graces and expertise of the people on this forum, I can gather the info for my dad and learn more along the way.
