Third Party Press

Hello from TEXAS

WOW! this place is AWESOME! I have a numbers matching 1938 (42), with Nazi Crest, 98K. I recently had it appraised and it was graded as MINT condition. The stock is a tiger stripped hard wood and the appraiser showed me the grading criteria and he said that mine is the finest example he has ever seen. After everything was all said and done he gave me a value of $2,500.00. Not too bad for a $300 investment I made in 2004.

Sounds like a nice rifle. Now you have to get us some pics. BTW, I have the worst condition all matching 38 42. Mine's battle hardened.

Great rifle and welcome to the forum. And their not bad investments either, I have been told many times in my life that I was crazy for wasting my money on old rifles lol.

Eh , I hate to be the bearer of bad news but you bolt should not be bright finish and bayonet lug should not be blued . You may have a refinished rifle. Like to see close up pics of bolt serial and small parts.

The link that I provided is a link to my pics on my FB Page.
