Yes. Saw that. Stock cut out atypical, but maybe ok. Honestly, the bolt handle numbers were throwing me a little. I would have to take a closer look. I personally would need more pictures. 15K is a lot of money for this I think. I always hate when people mess up the screw slot on a screw that sticks out like one on a LSR rail on a rifle.

I thought the stock cutout was a bit too rectangular and bolt numbers looked weird. I’d be tempted to buy it to examine in person if it was a few thousand cheaper (Legacy offers 7 day inspection).

Btw it sold for $11k in 2008 at RIA with a different mount/scope on it.

I agree with you 100%. Why do idiots always need to take everything apart even though there is nothing to see when disassembled. Those screws look aweful and it would be enough of a turnoff to stop me from buying. The same is true for the screws on turret bases.

Why don,t people use the right screw drivers that fit the slotted head. I see this a lot. If it does not fit right do not use it.

The number font looks off to me and I'm with Brian on the stock cutout. As I'm trying to learn the subtleties, what else bothers you about the bolt?
The bolt faces color is different than the rest of the bolt along with that you can see an odd pattern of the numbers/double stamping/light stamping.

Bolt numbers are slightly too large, font it slightly off, numbers look rounded, location of stamp is not normal, and the biggest mistake is that they numbered the cocking piece with 3 digits when it should only be 2. They most likely took a late unnumbered bolt and numbered it to match.

Noticed that it has the wrong front band also.

A little back story, this rifle was offered to a forum member here by another forum member. The buyer showed it to several of us here privately and we all agreed the bolt was fake (and also the front band which calls into question the stock). I hope that the seller informed Legacy of these issues. So either the original member/seller lied to Legacy, or Legacy lied to it’s customers. Personally, I’m getting sick of this crap.
