Gewehr 98 Spandau 1914

Good evening everyone and thanks for the admission!

I present my Gewehr 98 Spandau 1914, of Auchan I attach some photos.

The rifle should be quite intact except for the bent bolt.

Of particular interest is the disc that probably contains the initials of a previous owner.

What do you think?

Glad you found your way here! Thanks for posting the photos. As we said on the Facebook post, it's a wonderful Gew, even with the bent bolt. Looks like the safety and shroud were renumbered, they should only have the last two digits of the serial number. Otherwise it looks original. Great Gewehr from a harder to find year.

I also noticed that in those pieces the numbers (look at the 7) are different; this is not positive unfortunately
