“Completed” my pre-war Gew 98. Rifle is matching, except for an armorers cleaning rod and firing pin.
Wears a first pattern sling too.
The trench mag and mud cover were originally on my matching and original 1916 Danzig. Which were added by me. Decided I want to sell that particular rifle.
These accessories are pretty scarce. Wanted to keep them. I decided to move them to the pictured rifle.
