I’ve had this one for quite some time, but wanted to get it out for fresh photos.
First year production Erfurt with G. Mod. on the rail. Marked to IR 36. It went through the Königsberg depot according to the buttplate. Other than that it appears all original, including the barrel. Numbers match except for rear sight assembly (and the bolt head, which is missing). The acceptance is pretty typical Erfurt, mainly c/T, c/D, and c/P, but there are some outliers.
It’s interesting how these evolved from first year production. This one has only two acceptance stamps on the right receiver, but there’s a c/P following the serial number.
