I am amazed the are getting that much for clips . After collecting a lot of ammo that came on clips for my ammo studies , most was boxed and on clips . This was a while back , but I ended up with about 40 clips . I did fire a lot of original ammo while testing [ any that I had a lot of that was duplicates ] and used duplicate clips while testing , in rifle matches [ some matches were speed matches where 3 to 5 clips were just ejected on the ground ] . The clips were just common to me . I am sorry some of you can not find clips .

You can still find them at your local shows. Just remember, take a look in the display cases, and if somebody has collectible ammo. Ask to see what else they might have. This was my haul yesterday at the ogca show. I asked what else he had, and he dug out more from underneath the table. I was able to dig through a bin at the show and picked out the best german made commission 88 clips. Some of them are proof stamp by manufacturers that are not even listed in the Storz book. Bought six for $25 a piece with original ammo included.

Agreed. However, I start complaining when the spread between collectors' WTB on forums such at this one are no where near the final selling prices on GB and the rest. Probably over the years, I am guilty twice of going crazy on GB. However, I do understand what happens at any auction. Lately, the WTBs have been very successful and reasonable.

I’ve been going to OGCA for nearly 30 years and have not once been able to find any of those for “reasonable” prices, you did a heck of a good job finding all of those at once!

I am always whining about the gun shows here in Miami. They are primarily AR-based and very little of the old Milsurps are ever seen. About 5 years ago, I went to the show on a Sunday and saw a box with 5 boxes of Cleanbore 11MM Mauser. Well, for $50 I took them all and had plenty of brass for some time.
