Guys, heres one i picked up in a pawn shop awhile back. Is this 1898/05? Is the sharpening original? Also i thought the 1928 dated frog was interesting...curious if it may be a repop. anyways heres some pix
The piece is a early S98/05aA Bavarian proofed, most probably Amberg production with deliveries of F.Herder blanks, with round hole in grips,its serialed to scabbard 239? the frog looks like the early police Weimar frog. b.r.Andy
