I was contacted about this g98/40 rifle for sale locally. Just hoping someone more familiar with them can give a quick opinion on it.
Supposedly all matching. Seller wants 1400

Been dicked with / missing parts / no value to collector

Yeah I told the guy I had to pass
No bayo lug, sling swivel ground, and a sling swivel screwed to the buttstock

I think it still has some value, especially if it's matching numbers, but finding replacement parts could be tough.

Shooter grade usually around 1000-1200 but with the missing parts could be a few hundred less.
