G43 scope mount

So in a round about way I acquired a G43 with a scope mounted on it. The whole package is out of my wheelhouse and I am trying to educate myself some. I think the rifle is a legit numbers matching gun and the scope appears to be a real ZF4 “Dow”. Iam thinking the mount is a repo and isn’t even for a G34 because it sets to low and makes engaging/disengaging the bolt release very difficult. My question is what other rifles used that style of mount ? And what are the options for a good repo mount for the G43-Iam guessing real mounts are very expensive

Original mounts can cost almost as much as decent rifle which explains the popularity of the repro mounts. Of course most folks want a scope and mount on their G/K43 if it has a rail for it.
Many of the repro mounts have clearance issues with the bolt carrier. Feel free to post a pic. Keep in mind you can adjust/rotate the bands somewhat and it "may" alleviate the issue.

I have rotated the bands as much I think I can? the band doesn’t touch the receiver but it’s very close and doesn’t leave much room for the bolt release. From my research Iam know the bands are repo because they have the “square” cut rather than the tapered cut. At first I thought the mount was good but than I noticed it wasn’t drilled for the “locating” holes it is not numbered to the rifle the patina on the mount matches the rifle. The scope looks legit to me ? All the numbers match on the rifle I have taken the gas system apart and had the bolt out but I was afraid to strip the bolt so I don’t know if the small parts match. I got the rifle in a trade deal for what I considered I very good price-considering what I traded for it. It’s a 1944 “E” block Walther. Appreciate any added information
