Numbers are definitely bad. I am not 100% sure on the mount. The pictures are not good enough for me to determine. I don't get good feelings from the e/359. It looks slightly too large.

I agree on the 'font' being off. However - I have seen odd fonts on legit mounts - Added post war? Or Added in a non-typical fashion during the war? We will never no on some pieces.
I also agree on the lever being off. Not the best photo's but overall the mount itself does look 'scary good' to the point it could be an enhanced original (font and lever added).
Generally - if something isn't right - I avoid an item - unless very cheap and then you can absorb some risk. Sometimes if you can handle an item first hand it also helps. Helmets are a great example where you may have a legit shell with original paint and/or decal but something has been enhanced (strap, split pin, liner etc.) If the price is right, sometimes it is still neat to add to the shelf. Especially for new collectors, it gives someone an example that can be improved upon later.

There is something about the uniformity of the finish on all the parts. The mounts tend to have some variance in the bluing or phosphate on the lever, pins, etc. and I see practically none of that...

It's probably better when we don't educate people. It's not that hard on this one, and all other repro's of the last 30 years.

Here is what a good one looks like. Compare "war eagle", 359 shape, and construction of locking lever. Today's homework assignment is to spot and name the differences.

Walther1945, no that looks to be a fake from the same maker as the OP. Also, there is a sizable crack on the bottom portion.

Hello, Is this one good ?
