I believe Slash would help on this, maybe Reichs Zeugmeisterei fuer Heereswessen? 1942 date. b.r.Andy

R.Z.f.H. = Reichs Zentrale für Handwerkslieferungen.
The Reichs Zentrale für Handwerkslieferungen was the head organization of cooperatives (LLG's/ Landes Liefer Genossenschaften .....).

SORRY!, made a mistake. It is: Reichszentrale für Handwerkslieferungen. Not "Heereslieferungen", as I said before.
More details abaut the R.Z.f.H. can be found in: "Struktur und Funktionen der Handwerksorganisation in Deutschland seit 1933", written by Dr. Valentin Chesi.

In May 1939 the RZfH was the head of 218 LLG's.

So this organization (from it's name) was in control of a group of "cottage industry" manufacturers that made items for the war effort? I would assume then that the "19" would indicate the factory that made the frog?

Was this set up as a company itself that sold items to the Government or was this a Government run group? Thanks.

Very similar to the RZfH there was a Vermittlungsstelle für Heereslieferungen (exchange for military orders) in WWI for each German state. These were Government run.

The RZfH neither was a company, nor Government run. (Sure it was under Government controll in one or the other way, as was everything else back then.)
It was set up and organized by the member cooperatives. Financed with member fees, performance fees and most probably (like in WWI) bribe money.
First aim was to make/keep the „cottage industry“ competitive to the industry.
The RZfH organized huge military orders to be split up amongst it s member cooperatives. Responsible for quality control and on time delivery, the RZfH had one very important instrument to put pressure on the members. Distribution key of raw materials (and most probably labor)!
75 Landeslieferungsgenossenschaften for tailors, shoemakers, furriers and cap makers plus another 97 LLGs for saddlers, carpenters, locksmiths ......... were members of the RZfH.

I don’t think the number after the year has anything to do with the factory that made the item. So far I only encountered low two-digit numbers. It is assumed that it either is a inspector s number (like WaA) or a date (week).

Hope this helps
Thanks

I have recorded the following numbers: 10, 11, 14, 15, 18, 19, 21, and 22.

The marking can also be observed in two lines instead of the three line version pictured above. In those cases the marking is given as R.Z.f.H.22 > 1942. Other numbering patterns may exist as well. Buy thoughts only ....

Have a R.Z.f.H.> 1942/43 marked ammo pouch.
Thanks

PS: here I showed a R.Z.f.H. 7> 1942 stamp

In fact it is marked R.Z.f.H.> 1942/13. Or is it 18? But not /43

I'm pretty sure that it is 1942/13, Wolfgang. Here is an additional example with a fairly clear stamping. Again to a three section ammunition pouch. My thoughts only....

I have an ammo pouch with the number 13 also. Not real easy to read.

I've had these 2 pouches for about 50 years, since I have sold off all my Mausers and no longer have the time or desire to dress up like a WW2 German soldier I'm going to put these up for sale on the trader forum here. Any idea what the going rate on these would be, either individually or as a pair?

They are both in excellent original condition, with dividers intact.
