This is a great find , It amazes me by the condition of some of the items that are ground found . Some of the items are hard to believe they have been in the ground for over 70 years . Items as this really are untouched history a pure time capsule  Best Regards

Hey, I have the ground dug (or to be more specific water found) rifle for it  just a few meters away from me. But still not sure whether it's a LT or HT, but believe it's a HT since it looks like it originally has had a stamped magazine, but only a shortened safety. Unfortunately all markings are gone, only thing readable is the scale on the rear sight.

Moin, its a HT Mount,i buy it on eba..de.I am Intrested on your 98.I buy for 2 weeks 2 kahles at eba.. from Austria.I send the pics at evening.
regards Michael.

Michael, I saw those two scopes. They are both for the LSR sniper.

Attached some pictures of the ground dug turret sniper. Can anyone tell me whether it's HT or LT?

Great ground found Items Gents , the Kahles LSR Scope still has the Artic Sunshade . The Barreled Action is also very neat find . Was it Lake or River , any particulars to were it was found . Best Regards

The action was captured from the River Steyr, only a few Kilometers away from the original plant among only Steyr VK and BNZ rifles.

Michael, Sorry that one doesn't belong to me! It's of a friend of Mine.

Hello,

nice LT Zeiss Zielsechs. My best guess is it post 30,000 serial range. The meter dial looks to be the serated with groove varient and not the pre 30,000 serial full knurled varient .

later
