Am looking at this rifle in closer detail later this week. I know the front band and magazine follower aren't matching else, as presented.

Views sought and ty in advance for your help.

Looks pretty good from afar, better detailed photos would be nice. As stated, check the handguard out, should be serialed in the groove and a proof may exist on the top exterior. Bands and band spring should be looked at also.

Matching stock, matching bolt.
I note the "BNP" firing proof. If you are in the USA, it was imported from the UK.
In my opinion, the stock has been cleaned, no more patina.

Ty so far - pictures as supplied to me so really trying to decide if worth travelling to view in close up right now. I agree front hand guard looks a different wood. As mentioned, front barrel band and mag follower declared non-matching.

Is there a 0,2 just above the woodline on the barrel shank in photo #3? Honestly my only thoughts were the odd disparity between the top of the receiver and the bottom metal as well as the stamps in the stock on the right side versus those on the keel.

I agree with the others that @ $1250 with a solid, original sling seems like a no-brainer.

I suspect right side and left side have had a light sanding at some point. All the internals match. Just the dang front band and mag follower are from another gun whichbis annoying!!!
