EWB Rifle Question

First forgive me if this belongs in the Weimar forum (I know the EWB existed 1919-21) but I figured in here it’d get more attention. I’ve been wondering how many non-Amberg EWB marked Gew 98s are out there in Imperial trim? I know being a Bavarian organization they had mostly Bavarian Arsenal rifles. I’m curious how many members have or have seen non Amberg examples. I have seen the 1917 Oberndorf on here. I personally have two Spandaus that have been reworked at Ingolstadt and I’ve seen a handful of other similar Spandaus for sale.

I recently sold a Spandau 1917 EWB that I owned for about 45 years. It’s pretty clear when one considers the percentage of the German army that was made up of Bavarian units and of course troops compared to the estimated G98 output from Amberg that a good many other make G98s would have been required for Bavaria. I have no specific details that show what process or what depots or makers were used to augment Bavaria’s requirements. I know from experience of having examined many dozens of EWB marked G98s both in original imperial condition and 1930s reworked 98m configuration that other makers than Amberg or not uncommon to find.
