This one popped up a couple of weeks back and I had to snag it, it’s my first walnut Brünn 98k actually. Just a handful of lackluster sunny pictures, but it sure was nice out today.

Damn, you find some damned nice 98k's my Friend! Another stunner!

Although, I am more intrigued by the crate...looks like 13mm Incendiary HE Glimmspur, electrically primed..

Typically this was a Luftwaffe round for nightfighters, glimmspur is dim ignition tracer used to prevent pilots become dazzled by the tracers and losing their night vision. Super sweet crate!

Yes, nice dot and crate. This "k" block example in walnut is the 11th in the block I have recorded (most common in my small database).
