A DOT '44 with a nice '44 dated bayonet. I'm still learning about late war K98s.

Holy moly that is minty! Very nice find.

Sorry for the dead-thread revive, but I have some questions for my own Brünn statistics. I'm assuming it's matching.
Is the handguard dot-marked or just the keel? Is it not drilled for a cleaning rod?
Cool to see both the eagle/H and dot markings on the stock.

Gorgeous!

Reminds me of the good ol' days when I heavily collected Czech K98s, Vz.24, etc.

Thanks for the pics.

Jeff

Sorry for the delay. No hole for the cleaning rod and not marked on the handguard. Thanks

Very nice! I would not put the sling on the rifle. I would store it separately with a tag attributing it to that dot if it came on it. Don't oil it or clean it, it's perfect as it is.

NICE, Nice, nice all the way around. I especially like the odd markings on the ricasso of the bayonet ......

Pictures of the numbers/maker code and proof marks on the bayonet and scabbard. It looks like a really nice bayonet. If the frog is on there too tight don’t worry about it. Don’t want to ruin the frog. What are the marking on the back of the frog?
