DK Production MP44

I feel like I seen a picture a long time ago, but I thought it was fake but looks like they do exist. That Mp44 looks really nice with the folding stock

There was a picture with a bunch of mp44 variants a while ago. This crazy thing was in the bunch

Talked with Tor (the K) and the DK guys at Show of Shows (all Germans). Really nice dudes and very informative.

I asked if they'd build an original parts kit on their receiver.... Yes. With their receiver and if you have everything else, plus the labor to assemble, modify the lower and blue it is 4-4.5K. If you like the finish on your parts they will only blue the new receiver and distress it to match the finish on your parts. They had one they did for a guy on display (the one that is distressed).

I looked at the new MKb42, two versions plus the new FG42 and VG1.5. They are waiting on ATF approval on all of them currently and no price point yet.

Is the first MKb42 going to be open bolt semi auto, or have they found a way to make it look original but as a closed bolt?

Very cool that it looks like they've duplicated the nailed-on sling on the Gustloff. Out of all of them, the VG 1-5 is the one I hope gets ATF approval first (for my own selfish interests!). It seems like it should sail through given that it was always a semiauto, aside from a full auto version tested during development (if I recall correctly). Some time ago in communication with Tor, he said the Gustloff would be produced with a 16" barrel, so there REALLY shouldn't be a hold up due to regulations.
