CRA MG42 semi build

After having it for over 2 years now I finally sent my mg42 kit off to a builder a few hours from the house in Oklahoma. Shouldn’t be too much longer and very excited to get this one back. Any opinions on finish? The other 43 CRA’s I’ve seen were blued which is more so what I’m thinking. I know it’s less durable than cerakote but I’d like to get it period accurate like my other restorations.

It’s being made with BRP parts (partial bolt and their grip stick once the gen 2 partial bolts come back in stock). Should be a whole lot of fun once it‘s finished!

Little update:
Some test fitting and bluing and it should be done and ready to be sent back. Really really excited for this one. I’m gonna need a sling and drum for this this before it shows up.
