Hi guys,

Didn't where to post this but I thought it'be interesting to put it up for discussion. This is a very nice Gurtfüller 41 that was shared by a french collector over a militaria collecting forum and I was surprised to see the same late Mundlos/Hawig CNX marking on there, a first for me. I am sure this will spark some interest and I'd be glad to hear what you might say about it. Cheers!

Very interesting. Personally, I do not see this as the same font/style CNX stamping as found on the late rg34. The ES WaA20 is also of a different form. Unrelated to the late Appel/Hawig/Mundlos connection IMO. My thoughts only .....

Hi Lance,

Upon further inspection you might be onto something. The letters are more elongated, I had to wait and check on my kit and it's not quite the same. Nonetheless, I find this very interesting.
