EBay has one for about twenty bucks! It's a real one.
As for value, I don't really know. I am sure some will want a lot of money for one but they are just a butt plate. Maybe $300-400???
That’s insane in my opinion. It’s just a butt plate. How does a butt plate bring nearly as much as an entire rifle? Someone got bent over the table.Last one I sold for $1500.00.
I have bought and sold for that $1500 on various occasions. I sell them for what I pay for them to friends. I’d like to find a cheap original sniper rifle for any price close to that $1500 these days. I am not new to the game. I get the point here though. Just my experience. Wish I could find them for less. That’s insane in my opinion. It’s just a butt plate. How does a butt plate bring nearly as much as an entire rifle? Someone got bent over the table.
Here is the problem as I see it, if people continue to sell sniper stuff for these inflated prices eventually it will price new collectors out of the hobby. Sure we want to see this stuff increase in value but at a slower rate and because new demand is there. Not because of greed. Just my thoughts.
Lol. Not $1500 for a sniper rifle. But this amount is close to what a nice non-sniper k98k goes for.I have bought and sold for that $1500 on various occasions. Not an easy item to find. For $800 it’s a steal and anyone who needs it should buy it.
That would be a high price for an untouched, all matching high turret. But I can hear the carnie barking dealer now "well I mean, a checker butt plate brings $1500 by it self, I figure this rifle is worth at least 20k."I was at the MAX show, and I saw a sanded probably not real high turret on a table for 20 thousand! I thought OMG!!
