Captured Russian Potato digger

Warrior1354

ax - hole
I picked up this photograph recently. Pretty cool, and not something you see very often. Has a little bit of info on the back too. Translation "Captured Russian machine guns and mortars after the victory at Lake Narosh on April 28, 1916."

And as we know about the Lake Narosh offensive. It was a massive failure for the Russians with lots of high casualties.

Really a great photograph Jorden! Your taste in photo's and pc's is impeccable and often are quality examples,- with the right context (such) can pull large amounts on ebay,- or use too (though ebay isn't what it once was... when it started you could buy guns which I did several times in the late 90's... today ebay is dead to individual sellers, takes a miracle to get even one bid!)

Let's see more of you here! I miss your displays of acquisitions!

I bought guns on eBay as well as yahoo auctions.

Anyhow…. That first Russian maxim was blown to shite. The water jacket is complete gone and while the barrel is still there it’s been bent almost 90 degrees. Wow.
