ok so the X suffix represents? 3 of the holes are threaded the other 2 are smooth and appear to have some rust/oxidation. so if it is an lsr, what does that mean? what could this rifle be worth as is?

You're missing the really expensive stuff...complete optics pkg...will set you back 4 /5k plus for the proper one..and it is in dire need of a stock...but it is a good base weapon to start with for a restoration...not for the faint of heart financially but definitely worth throwing some money @ if the desire is there...wont happen over nite...probably take a few years...but would be satisfying.

As for worth...depends on who wants it..... and how bad...missing a lot of stuff...its value will differ from buyer to buyer.

The stock was cut twice. Why would anybody do that? Finding the correct parts will take time but it's worth the effort.

so the "Thick Wall" for the LSR scope mount was an added on piece? Or was the surrounding metal milled away?
