Here are a few photos of a BYF 45 Kriegsmodell ZF41 I bought from my friend Dave Roberts at SOS. I have been looking for one of these for a while. Thanks for helping me out Dave. The pictures were too big before, so thanks for the help.

Herc, I downloaded an application that reduces file size of the pictures. I reduce the file size before hand and do not have problems.

Says, "upload of file failed".

could be a number of things. As the site doesn't tell you what the issue is.. File size I assume. That's happens to me when I try loading to many at once.
Try one then two. The other issue could be the camera setting. My old photos wont load as the size setting on my camera was set too high. So it could be a combination of both ?

Pictures

OK guys pics too big, thanks. I resized a few, but it is time consuming. I will have to figure out how to adjust the camera.

get the book out on the camera if you still have it. It shows you how to turn down the picture quality down. Usually in the "settings" in the camera.
Give it a shot.. I remember getting frustrated learning this stuff so I could share on the forum. It's worth learning..

looks like you got it.. nice rifle. Its amazing how many zf41's and HT's Mauser turned out in the no letter block of 1945..

Sweet rifle!! I leave my file size at large on my camera so I have the best pics for my records. Then I copy the ones I want to post in a new file with the same name with post added as a suffix. I then first crop then resize the using windows picture viewer to document large.

Nice rifle and also very nice scope!
Your scope is a very early model without designation "Z.F.41" but marked only "Z.F.".
It was made around 1940 or early 1941.
The scope was reconditioned in 1942, when the "circle" was added.

Thank you. I was interested in some of those markings. I have another scope I will have you take a look at here if you get a chance. It is at this link:

I know I made mention that I did not have a very successful SOS SHOW ,but I think I should rephrase that or clarify it as far as adding anything new to the collection it was not a great show , but on the other hand helping my friend Brian add a ZF41 Rifle to his collection and helping out a new collector to top off his HT with a Scope & Rings it has to be the most fulfilling SOS SHOW for me to date . It is nice to see Your both very happy with the end results .

PS. When Your done with them don`t forget were you need to send them . LOL!!!!!!!!:laugh:

Best Regards .
