What Exactly did You do to it . How was it before Restoration . BEST REGARDS

Hello, I too wouldn't mind seeing what it was like before or what you'e done to restore it? Looks nice!

May I also ask whether a byf43 with this 'l' block could also be a HT sniper, or were they only LT? Thank you

Looks like an i block. I have an i block 1943 LT. It does not have a "Bunny stamp" like this one and I am surprised to see one this early.

An i block HT would be a 1944.

The HT is reblued and built on an AR receiver. Best I can tell it is an i suffix.

I will post a few pictures of the LT in a new thread. Many of you are familiar with it.

Hello,

to me they got it to hot or used the wrong solder. the side rail has a golden hue to show that they started to get it to hot about 450-475 temp even thought soem of the hue might be due to light source. you can see that you need to clean up your flux as it rusting up the mounts. the front and rear receiver bridge has some scale and you can see where the heat flowed the extra flux around and started to take the bluing off. the rear mount mess of solder for BYF43 i (I) block also got hot and now had killed the rear mount bluing. From what i have in my data base the LT to HT started in the BYF 43 k (K) block as mixed emalpes are found roughly 33K range more examples are needed. R or bunny mark looks fake from the others i've seen.
