For the sake of documentation, here's my byf 41. Stock lightly sanded unfortunately but otherwise looks like a desk-jockey's rifle. Bore is excellent. Cleaning rod doesn't match, otherwise all correct.

Even with the stock lightly sanded, that would be a no holds bar welcome into my K98K collection and I believe many of us would also be happy to have such a example in that condition. Hopefully it shoots great with ya'll match ammo!

Very nice and I agree, the stock isn't hit too bad at all. The side stamps are still quite crisp. I see it's got a Silesiastahl supplied barrel blank. I like it... a lot.
