I was there yesterday and had seen it as well, just shook my head.

There were a few other mausers there as well and I was shocked what they were asking for what they were. When did russian captures move up to the $1100 - $1500 range? Unless I was missing a bunch pickings were slim. I did not see a G.43 in the place.

The Oaks Show sucks. Has for well over a year IMO. A bunch of beat to hell Turkish Mausers, Mismatched and Ground Mum Arisaka at the prices of ones matching and with Mum, and some overpriced 1917s. Surrounded by novelty and snack food vendors. I bought one rifle from there ever worth keeping. Stopped going a year ago. Now they have $1k+ RC Mausers isn't that grand.
