Borsigwalde with plastic stock found

Like Georg said, you’re just seeing some separation in the end plug of the stock. It’s either a thick laminate build up or filled with a thixotropic of sorts. CD29C4DC-6866-4152-B59B-7B4B93CA4AE3.jpeg
 
These stocks are really cool. One turned up at a local shop, an interesting point about them, is that they don’t sound like a regular 98k when you cycle the bolt, the hollow nature of the stock makes it resonate differently.
