I haven't seen this one in person yet, and obviously the bolt needs to be looked at...but any thoughts on first glance?

It looks heavily worked over, even refinished/touched up in spots at best. Doesn’t look like an untouched bnz45.

I was also going to say that the receiver looked like it's been re-phosphated, the front band looks like it's had a number ground off and the barrel's too shiny, but I was hoping it was just the camera effect.
Also I'm sure you know how I hate to say anything derogatory about someone else's Mauser.

As others have said seriously cleaned at the very least and there’s enough of these around that I wouldn’t personally settle for less than “as found”/uncleaned with an S or T block

Agreed, and with the bad bolt it's a definite pass!
