Just picked this up a week ago and showed up yesterday. Been looking for a kriegsmodell and very happy that I found this one. Its an early Q block BNZ 44. Anyway here are some pictures. One day i'll get a better spot for lighting for pictures ha.

Another nice rifle, perfectly correct (parts) for this range, - does the bolt bottom flat have any markings?

q and r blocks are much harder to find than the S and T blocks. Condition is stunning ! congrats.....

i helped Cody with this one earlier today. As soon as I saw his pics, I knew he had scored! It sure would look good with my T block

These are amazing, as is this one!!!

Believe it or not, I've got a q block that also looks exactly like this one!!!!! 5013q (Mine doesn't have the waffenampt above the large BNZ)

Really beautiful rifle and as already pointed out q blocks are far less common than S or T. I've got two - 325q and 2349q. Neither have the final acceptance on the top either and most of the O/P/Q blocks I've seen over the years do not. Any idea why? Also would love to see the bands and front end on this one - any chance of more pics?

Maybe because the TF was reintroduced in the bnz/44 q-block. prior to the q-block SDP didn't use a TF. In the q-block it is intermittent, then late in the block and through subsequent blocks, most rifles have a TF.

In other words it was a transition, what SDP had done late 1941 through early 1944, use of a final in lieu RR acceptance, had disappeared in the early blocks of 1944, only to return in the q-block.

Thanks for all the comments, just at work for the week, but when I get back will get the requested pictures of the bands, and check the bolt for markings
