Bluing

Dumb question, it’s been reblued and from the pics it’s hard to see but it’s a dull grey and doesn’t look to good, there’s no way I’m gonna reblue this but is there a way to naturally wear the bluing or something to get that worn look that a lot of k98’s have on the metal?
yes I’ve been refinishing the refinished stock and so far it’s looking great that glossy finish came off w no problems

Just an observation. It's your rifle and I understand you want a period correct looking rifle. While you can make this one look good, it will never have that authentic wear you are seeking. Enjoy this one for what it is because the more you change things about it, the less satisfied you will probably be with it long term.
