Going through an antique round top trunk full of various ammo pouches I have, I came across these 2 ammo pouches.

They aren't identical, but pretty close. I've had these for around 50 years, as I recall.

Real nice shape, leather dividers in each pocket still intact.

They still have that nice old German leather smell, with just a hint of mothball scent that comes from the trunk - it's been that way ever since I got it back in the mid 1960s.

Any info or history on the makers, especially the RZ RH marked one?

No photos yet, will take some tomorrow when I have decent light. Don't know if my marginal little camera will be able to capture the markings....probably not

What is fair market going price on something like this? No longer having any Mausers nor the desire to dress up in WW2 German uniforms any more, I'm considering putting them up for sale.

When I first saw the RZ...., I was hoping maybe it was RZM with some kind of SS marking, but with bettr light I saw it wasn't.

The little circular patterns of the pebbled finish to the leather make the f look like an R, closer examination reveals that it is indeed an f.
