bcd in original GI shipping box

Good memory, Tractor sold bought a one with a front loader and accessories, still planning to move but in a year or two. I’m a short timer and will be joining you shortly my man.

Front loader is the only way to go my brother, good to hear. Get out of NY as fast as you can.

Very awesome. Can you tell us more about how you came to find it? First hand bringbacks are part of collection I’ll never get to experience.

It’s a long story but I always popped into a local gun store/junk store and there was always an Italian Rifle or Jap Rifle hidden somewhere. Well I saw this green box and asked what is its story, he said it was his father’s box from WWII and had a German rifle in it… still un-assembled. I told him bcd 4s are common similar to byf 44s and I gave him a very honest price for example and then doubled it since it was in the box. Long story short he said let me talk to my dad. I met him and told him I am a Vet Combat Vet and asked him a bunch of questions to include where he came into this K98. He said in a newly liberated area in France during the fall from a pile of other K98s. that’s how I came to own it today

God Bless
