Looks like a nice rifle. But can't see much with these pictures. Need to see the numbered parts to determine if the rest of the of the rifle is good.

Based off those photos I'd roll the dice. Very clean looking rifle.. Reminds me of the one I use to own..

From the supplied pictures, it looks like a very nice rifle. Double what Matt said, you need to ensure it is all matching. The large "C" in bcd is more scarce.

Yes, it looks like a really nice and rare rifle. The only thing probably left to check are the internal numbers. The rifle has been reported before in Espeholt's serial number data base. Unknown when or by whom. Let us know what you find out.

I like the split C on the bCd too. These are interesting rifles, especially like the earliest with the rounded bolt carriers. I am not sure if they make it out of the no letter block?

Thanks guys!I took the bolt carrier out and parts match except the locking lugs have a different number but a circle v mark. Also this rifle is duffle cut but not repaired.Houston I think we have a problem! The gas cylinder is the later type phosphate with the hole so that was ungraded/replaced,the rod and parts have the circlev.Anyway it is what it is,paid I think 1800.00 for it,I know it must hurt the value with the lugs, cylinder and duffle cut,one thing the stock sure wasnt sanded,so what is an aprox value on this rifle today?Anyway wouldnt be hard to polish off the numbers on the lugs they are not deep and renumber them and find an early gas cylinder and fake that but am no into humping up rifles and would never do that, some would I am sure.I am guessing this rifle was near new and went back to the factory and they upgraded the gas cylinder, lugs I dont know, what to you guys think?Maybe done in the field but it dosent look to have seem much action, its a mystery to me.

Don't think any bcd rifles got the carrier with the rib but could be wrong? I had not seen a later one with the rounded carrier though, that would be cool. It is like a G.41 carrier shape? Just a little rougher?

Oh no, that's too bad on the mismatch. The duffle cut, some don't care as that's part of the history and how it got back to the U.S. The mismatched locking lugs.....that's pretty frowned upon in the collector world. It doesn't really matter to a later potential collector that is a buyer, whether or not it happened in the field or post war collection somewhere in its life. It is unfortunately a mismatched rifle. A decent one, that's for sure.

Yes,thanks! Its funny that a couple small parts can hurt the value a lot.In this rifles near new cond. and rarety I still think its worth 2500.00 JMO.

Thanks!I thought it was a jewel, quess I will find out what its worth when and if I decide to sell it,never seen another bcd in this near new cond.,have never seen stock proofs on any rifle this crisp and deep.
