looks all matching and correct but, has been mentioned the metal has been scrubbed to death.. Still better than alot out there.. depends on the price.

I agree.... but maybe not too, too much? If a few hundo less maybe? Idk with what the current market has been? 1400?

I think the front band is fragged. Probably cleaned agressively as previously stated. I wonder how the bottom metal looks in hand? Maybe it's not too bad and it's just the pics?
Agreed all around. Legit gun heavily cleaned. I feel like 1400 or so would be ok. Cleaned but legit is one thing for sure: legit!! Humped but not cleaned is a deal breaker.

these photos dont change much.. As was said it has condition issues. If you can live with that and the price buy it ! We have pretty much explained the issues and the rifle appears all correct.
looks like its in a pretty well stocked shop.. Maybe it just came in and the seller wants to get top dollar ? Let it sit a while then go back with 1500.00 cash..

Offered some hundreds less and seller agreed, got the rifle.

Few more photos, stock does match the rifle, bore seems in very good conditions.

Quick story of this K98: was found in 2012 in the ceiling of the seller's grandfather home, a member of Italian Resistance, who lived there since the end of WW2. Seen some photos of the finding and the rifle had been already scrabbed at the time. Comparing that photos to current conditions, seems untouched except for oiling the stock.

As already said, an all matching bcd 43 with some unfortunately scrabbed parts, that most probably done war in Italy.

Hi ! Quick question : what’s the availability of K98ks in Italy ? Like in any market, price depends on supply and demand.
In France, the supply seems to dry up and prices increase. Minimum retail price is 1000 EUR for a Russian capture or bolt mismatch.
Greetings from France.

In Italy , as everywhere , K98ks are intensively collected and so the prices are increasing year after year .

the rifle is a ‘q’ block? I have a g & an x block 43, despite the condition, I like it.

These are the markings inside the barrel groove: what about the marked letter? Cannot say if it is a wrong marked 'q' or an upside down 'h'. What's your opinion?
