Picked this one up a few months ago. Figured it was about time to get some pictures up here. Still have to try and work on better lighting in the house, but anyway here are some pictures.

It came out of Wisconsin in 2010 (advertised as out of an estate), $1925.00 end price.. a very nice rifle and tough to find this year. MB's are tough in 1941-42 this nice. Good pictures too.

Interesting, picked it up from a dealer up here in Canada, thanks for the info

Loewe never ceases to amaze me..
Not cheap when it sold.. Can only imagine what it cost when it crossed the boarder ? Nice rifle with typical restored wood..

Import is $250 plus duties on the value. For a $1800 usd rifle usually costs me $450. 2350 was $550

Plus exchange. So it wasn't cheap to get it here

Nice 98k

Why is it hard to find 98k rifles in Canada?,and German ww2 militaria!

We need to all chip in and get Loewe an award or plaque of some type. You are incredible.

Nice 98k

Why is it hard to find 98k rifles in Canada?,and German ww2 militaria!

Well we never had any German soldiers here except POWs, so it sure isn't around like your home. And Canadian soldiers weren't allowed to bring
Home guns at all. As a result we have a lot of lugers and p38. More easily smuggled. But bring
Home rifles are very scarce. Also doesn't seem that we got imports of good rifles post war.

We have militaria around but still not as much. We are only a tenth of the USA so just by volume it's less.

And you'd think plentiful Lugers! Great! Not so. They are prohibited based on barrel length so only a select few older guys can own them.
