Ajack HT and rare rubber eye cup

Here is my new find, an Ajack High turret with it rare rubber eyecup.

This scope in not in very good condition but fully functionnal with interesting details.
The original rifle number fitting with it was 31602, then it was erased to be reissued
to the rifle 9202. Last detail and not the least I think is the original rubber eyecup
found with the scope.

Very cool. Thanks for posting. I really like scopes like that. Nice rubber eye cup as well. Is the rifle serial number 92024 i ?. The scopes from I block in this time period have the letter suffix usually on the front ring above the serial. Seems to be lots of recycled rings from that time period as well. Also, that period sniper pic of the SS crew is also one of my favorites.

For me I can read 9202 only, I think the first riflle number was a I block with 31602i.
 
I find these reissued Scopes to be one of the most interesting to collect . Thank You for sharing a great piece !!!!!!!!!

Sauers is 48873; first one known with holes. Later on they know how to do the job, i.e. first screw it on then drill the holes.

Dave, the pic with the monopod in the book is not HJ Division, but Wiking in Kaukasus, much earlier. Great work, though.

Paul , that caption was not written by me nor did that come from me . I had discussed this with the person who wrote the caption just a day ago . Great work for sure . Best Regards .
