Hello group, I recently acquired what I believe to be an aftermarket SSR mount. Is anyone able to provide details as to where it may have come from? Possible European repro? Shame about the small spot of rust on top.

Yes this organization has been making fake stuff for years. They are on EBay as long as I can remember. Most items they list have a vague item description, leading some to think the stuff is original.

Agreed. I've made a couple rookie purchases on eBay. Accumounts look like they make a quality product. Will most likely be using them going forward.

Your set looks like the ones from france, hence why I linked it.
Theirs is the only ones I see with the pin you asked about. Accumounts appears to also have the pin, but looks nothing like yours.
The patchy bluing reminds me of igor mounts, so unless he produced SSR types it could also been one of his.

Does it really matter if his repop is from accumounts of from the French source, if not the two originally come from the same manufacturer? It is a reproduction and both of the largest sellers for those offer one that looks exactly like his (if not for the little artificial aging).
