Accumounts SSR, any experience ?

Still waffling on the mount system for my sniper clone . What are people’s thoughts on the accumounts SSR mount vs their HT split ring setup?

I had a split ring HT set up built years ago, so that i could take advantage of having several original scopes in my collection.
The screws that hold the rings together were very soft but everything has remained steady after about several thousand rounds and solid use in the field over the years.

Unless you particularly want to take advantage of switching out scopes, I would go with soldered variant. Or a Type 3 SSR and have it well done if this is just for shooting.
If you're into true clone and history and whatnot, you should go with what you find more interesting history wise.

Thanks, so the rifle is a CE 41 or later sauer. I say later, because the receiver has been polished a little, and I can stil lmake out the CE, but not the year. Plum colored extractor. Bolt matches. It was D&T for an old center mount weaver scope, so i thought it would be a good HT project, but now i realize that a type 3 SSR mount maybe more historically accurate for that rifle, and gives me the flexibility of switching out scopes, and looks more historically accurate, when compared to split ring HT mounts.
