AC44 Panel Cut

Picked this one up recently thanks to @Mike2994. Not the best pictures since all I have these days is my iPhone.

This is a super cool rifle. While an AC44 Q block this rifle had to have been finished very late. No hold open latch on the bolt carrier, phosphate receiver, reverse 45 on bolt carrier, 45 dated barrel and phosphate front site base. And a legit phosphate mag. I really like the gas mask strap as a sling. I had to replace the safety since it has been messed.

I offered this rifle to @mrfarb but he says it's a resto now with the safety replaced. So he wasn't interested. Plus he hates so much phosphate.

Looks like @ugafx4 has one just like it

Really very nice raw gun there. First report of it. It’s mixed in with “G.43” and “K.43” stamped rifles. Had to be finalized in ‘45 for sure.

Anything in the buttstock?

Twins, sweet!

Super nice rifle and that stock is icing on that cake. I have an ac44 Q myself, also panel cut, reverse 45 w/ no hold open, phosphate galore, but it has a stock type that is contoured forward of the trigger guard.
That stock  puts yours on the next level.
