Can anyone tell me if they know anything about navy arms 8mm ammo the rim has 61 at the top and 01 on bottom is this ammo any good?

Brass case? Steel case? Pics would help. I heard it was mixed headstamps.

I talking with a guy on the webb who is selling its steel case he said the rim has 64 stamped at the top and 01 at the bottom they are in navy arms box 15 to the box. Thanks

I think it sounds like the East German surplus. I had some a few years back and it shot reliably, but was not particularly special in the accuracy department.
