What about the two metal magazines? When were they made? I could only find “printing” on one of them.

My friend with the Luger bought it five years ago, with holster and two mags, for four hundred bucks. The holster will not close with the extra magazine in the “pocket” so I assume it is not for a Luger. Here is a picture of the only “writing” on it - the Waffenamt stamp and what looks like an asterisk and the year 42. It is a “hard-shell” holster. Is the star the DDR star?
