My favorite of the four. Frog appears to be dated 1937 also.

I assume Slash would find the maker on frog ,but should be photographed from side and wout flash, or You should add some white powder to the area, that could be later easily removed. The piece is nice on blade, someone brushed the pommel, You have the nearest piece to this.
 
Wow, 3978 between them and mine is the closest recorded. I noticed they were both c block but I would have guessed there to be a hundred between them. The brushing is not quite as evident to the naked eye. I am always amazed what I see when I look at the high res pictures. 8 years of war and 78 more years of bumping around would put a few dings on anything.

Its normal as many series letter are presented only with few samples, mainly the early ones are harder to obtain, as from 1943/4 exist a tons of samples. Its looks like on pommel was done a cleaning from rust, so there are scratches visible on locking lug area same there was a rust on press button which was cleaned out, even Your detailed pictures makes the scratches larger as are in real.
