1945 Ammo Pouches RBNr. 0/0465/0012 Reference Thread

A nice pair of single layer backed pouches made by Bernhard Meyer, Gronau i. Hann. Both have all stitched construction, with one having smooth leather belt loops with undyed pebbled leather interior, and solid rivets. The other nicer pouch has pebbled belt loops, blacked dyed pebbled leather interior, and hollow rivets.

Nice set. Tough to get a true pair.

Although I think these show up earlier than 45. Late 44 IMO. As once you look, they are out there. Not sure if there is any documentation to say for sure.

Yes I think they popped up fairly late 1944, I think the Kriegsmodell book has the exact date, but most ID these as "1945" style so I added that to the title so it shows up in search results.
 
Here's my favorite, named three times, and the middle name surely is interesting from the research I've done.

Yup, that's the one! And the two I have with shortened straps, hollow rivets, came from different sources (1 from family, the other from a fellow collector)
