Hi guys,
Here are a few interesting gasmasks I wanted to share with you. One of which is a work in progress for completion.
First off with the left one, which is complete and in as found condition, is an "eph 44" dated canister with a btc 44 gm38 mask. Note the wire hook short strap and crude long strap, very interesting but not uncommon in late sets.
The other one is a "rlt 45" canister to which I added the correct straps marked ebd 44 with a wire hook short strap as well. The mask is a late bmw 44 "early" gm30 mostly 44 dated with rayon straps. The condensation protection lenses compartment has the simplified built in clamp and the front spring stud is basically two sheet metal parts weld together. The canister is both FRN45 and rlt 45 marked.
