1891 Amberg Gew88

I got this rifle several years ago for cheap. This is a straight Gew88, not modified. Minus the bolt, it's all matching down to the screws. The bolt number was also ground off for some reason. Unfortunately a previous owner varnished the stock and metal. The rear screw is also jammed and won't budge so I can't take the rifle down any further.

Can anyone tell me what unit this was issued to?

Thanks! Never would have thought Ersatz. What does the 4 signify? I assume the 240 is the 240th rifle.
